Project title: “Internationalisation of ID PAS through development support in the sphere of service provision to foreign doctoral students and scientists” (Acronym: 4INTEgrateIDPAS)

Objective: The objective of the project is to improve institutional capabilities of ID PAS through the performance of training activities addressed to employees, scholarship holders and doctoral students at ID PAS, the development the English version of the Institute's website, and the preparation of English versions of the Entity’s internal documents.

Measures planned under the Project:

  • MEASURE I - English language course for administration staff
  • MEASURE II - English language course for scientists
  • MEASURE III - English language course for technical and engineering staff
  • MEASURE IV - Adaptation of documents and procedures in place at ID PAS to services provided to foreigners (translation into English)
  • MEASURE V - Adaptation of the website of the Institute of Dendrology, Polish Academy of Sciences to the needs of foreigners
  • MEASURE VI - Training courses in service provision to foreigners,
  • MEASURE VII - Training in international team management, preparation of documents/procedures in a foreign language

Recruitment for participation in training tasks planned as part of the Project

1. Recruitment shall be performed taking into account the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, including accessibility to persons with disabilities and equal opportunities to women and men.

As regards persons with specific needs, ID PAS shall endeavour to eliminate any potential obstacles and inconvenience. Persons who require additional support in relation to specific needs are requested to contact the Department of Scientific Information.

2. Recruitment will be performed in respect of individual tasks within the time limits specified on the Project's website https://www.idpan.poznan.pl/pl/viewart?view=article&id=3468:4integrateidpas&catid=184 and/or via information sent by e-mail: [This email address is being protected from spambots. 3. Candidates interested in participation in a given task should send their submission to take part in such tasks within the time limits specified on the website or in a message sent by electronic mail. Submissions should be filed via an online form or a form sent as an attachment to an e-mail. Persons who do not have access to a company computer and who wish to take part in a task are requested to contact the Department of Scientific Information, where employees will assist them in the submission process.

4. Filing a submission is equivalent to accepting the Rules & Regulations for recruitment and participation in the Project.

5. One person may take part in more than one training task.

6. [As regards tasks where participation limits have been set], Participants are qualified for a given task by a Recruitment Committee which will select participants and prepare a list of qualified persons and a reserve list. The evaluation process will be based on a scoring system described in a notice for each task where participant limits have been planned. In the event of an equal score, additional criteria shall be decisive.

7. The training tasks with participant limits will have general criteria and specific criteria for selecting participants for a particular task. Specific criteria include:

a) depending on the training type:

  • declared language competence level (1-3 points, whereas the lower the level, the greater the number of points)
  • conduct of scientific activities declared in an evaluation statement (1-4 points, whereas the greater the experience in scientific activities, the greater the number of points)
  • direct provision of services to foreigners, whereas the more directly the services are rendered, the greater the number of points (1-4 points)

b) referring to all Candidates:

  • the significance of participation in training for professional development and its usefulness in a given job position/type of work (0-5 points).

8. Candidates will be informed about the results of recruitment by electronic mail sent to the address indicated in the submission.

9. A reserve list may be prepared if the number of submissions exceeds the number of available places.

10. In the event of a Participant's resignation from the Project, a Candidate on the reserve list will be invited to participate, according to the position on the list, starting from the highest one.

11. If the number of participants qualifying for the Project is insufficient, an additional recruitment procedure may be announced in respect of participation in individual tasks in line with the principles set out in these Rules & Regulations.
