Preamble

The Institute of Dendrology, Polish Academy of Sciences is a leading national scientific institution that deals with broadly understood, interdisciplinary research on the biology of trees and shrubs at all levels of their organization.

Mission

Conducting scientific activities in the field of biological and forest sciences, with particular focus on those significant for the development of the country, disseminating and implementing the results of these activities.

  • Developing scientific cooperation at national and international level through the establishment of scientific consortia and joint research projects, and engaging in initiatives to create diverse scientific collaboration platforms.
  • Shaping positive social attitudes by spreading knowledge of nature, raising ecological awareness, and promoting the idea of a society open to knowledge.
