Our Institute has been honored with the HR Excellence in Research award.
This prestigious award is one of the activities of the European Commission's Human Resources Strategy for Researchers. Thus, we joined the ranks of 105 institutions holding this prestigious award.
HR Excellence in Research is an honorable award, but also an important commitment. Its goal is to continuously improve the attractiveness of working conditions and career development of researchers in the European Union. It is awarded to institutions that provide the best working conditions for researchers and conduct recruitment processes transparently and in accordance with the guidelines of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. Institutions that have been awarded the HR logo participate in a continuous process that involves regular evaluation of progress in implementing and complying with the principles of the Charter and the Code by foreign experts appointed by the European Commission. The results of the experts' evaluation determine whether the institution will maintain the HR distinction.
The basic documentation necessary for the European Commission's evaluation of the Institute was prepared by a Working Group consisting of Dr. Karolina Sobierajska (chairperson), Prof. Grzegorz Iszkuło, Prof. Witold M. Wachowiak, Prof. Tomasz Leski, Dr. Mikołaj Wawrzyniak, M.Sc. Sonia Paź-Dyderska, Katarzyna Szwed-Pietras (gender officer), M.Sc. Magdalena Łukowiak, M.Sc. Marta Idkowiak and M.Sc. Damian Maciejewski. Thank you for your involvement in drafting documents for the European Commission and preparing, under the guidance of the Steering Committee, a proposal for the 2024-2026 Action Plan.
