We are pleased to announce that two of our scientists have been awarded prizes in the MINIATURA-9 competition organized by the National Science Centre. They will receive a total of nearly PLN 100,000 for their scientific work.





Dr. Andżelika Drozda from the Department of Genetics and Environmental Interactions will carry out a research project entitled “The epigenetic code of beech seeds: how does methylation shape adaptation?” She submitted her application for evaluation to the NZ2 panel “Integrative biology: from genes and genomes to systems.”
Dr. Daniel Janowski from the Department of Symbiotic Associations will carry out a research project entitled “Mycorrhizal status of Craigia and Mortoniodendron, tropical trees from the subfamily Tilioideae (Malvaceae).” This application was submitted for evaluation to panel NZ8 “Environmental Biology, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology.”
