Appointment of the New Scientific Council of the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank
We would like to inform you that the Director General of the State Forests has appointed the new members of the Scientific Council of the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank for its 7th term. The newly appointed Scientific Council includes experts from various institutions, as well as representatives from the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ID PAS):
Dr. Mikołaj K. Wawrzyniak,
Dr. Jan Suszka,
Prof. Andrzej Lewandowski (retired, ID PAS),
Prof. Władysław Chałupka (retired, ID PAS),
Prof. Maciej Giertych (retired, ID PAS),
Prof. Tadeusz Tylkowski, (retired, ID PAS).
The new term of the Scientific Council will commence with a meeting scheduled for June 4, 2025. This meeting will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in guiding the future development of activities at the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank.
