Kórnik Arboretum
The Kórnik Arboretum belongs to the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. A rich collection of trees and shrubs from the temperate zone of the northern hemisphere has been collected here. Particularly numerous species represent the woody flora of eastern Asia (Japan, Korea, China) and North America. The collections also include trees and shrubs from the mountainous areas of Central Asia and the Caucasus.
The number of species and varieties in the arboretum's collections is currently approximately 3,500.

Reminder: The main entrance to the Arboretum is located by the Castle on 5 Zamkowa Street.
Before entering the Arboretum it is necessary to buy an entrance ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office before entering the facility (payment by card or cash). Ticket sales end half an hour before the Arboretum closes.
The ticket entitles you to visit the Arboretum on your own. The Arboretum has educational paths, an educational glade, a picnic clearing, a playground, as well as the Arboretum office.
Other forms of sightseeing involve additional costs. Please remember organized groups wishing to visit the park with a guide should book a tour by phone or email. School groups are welcome to attend green lessons or workshops.
