    HERALDS OF SPRING>

Heralds of Spring is the Arboretum's first spring educational event. It is dedicated to the plants that bloom earliest in spring. The timing is fluid and depends on the arrival of the first warm spring days waking up Kórnik plants from their winter slumber. During the guided spring walks, which start at 12 and 2 pm, one can admire the fields of blooming snowdrops, ranunculus, snowdrops, primroses and onions, get acquainted with the collection of witch hazels blooming in winter and early spring, see the first blossoms of cherry trees, forsythia, derenes and heather, as well as see and taste the wild garlic that grows here in large numbers.

WHEN THE WHITE LILACS WILL BLOOM AGAIN>

These days are dedicated to lilacs, popularly known as lilacs. The Kórnik Arboretum is home to the largest collection of them in Poland! They are located in the so-called New Arboretum - a part of the garden that is open to the public only on selected weekends in May, and remains closed to visitors for the rest of the year.

On these days, at 12 and 14 o'clock, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a walk with a garden employee, who will talk about the history of the garden, the cultivation and care of lilacs and other dendrological curiosities of the Kórnik garden.

The walk is scheduled for individual visitors. Participation is free, only a ticket or admission card is required. There is no need to register participation.

The New Arboretum will be open from 10 am to 6 pm.

    THE COLORS OF AUTUMN>

The Colors of Autumn is an event usually held in the second half of October, and is dedicated to the autumn richness of colors and forms that can then be seen in our Arboretum. In addition to guided walks (traditionally at 12 and 2 pm), during which the biggest autumn "stars" of our collection are presented, there is an exhibition of seeds, fruits and cones that can be found in the arboretum. The date of the event is movable and determined depending on the intensity of the autumn coloration of the plants.
