On September 17–18, 2025, employees of the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences participated in the conference “Protection of forest genetic resources in the context of global climate change,” organized by the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.
The program included introductory lectures, presentations, and a poster session. Speakers from the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences included: Dr. Ewelina Ratajczak, Prof. ID PAN, Dr. Daniel J. Chmura, Prof. ID PAN, Prof. Witold Wachowiak (ID PAN/UAM), and Dr. Emilia Pers-Kamczyc, Prof. ID PAN. The session was moderated by Prof. Andrzej M. Jagodziński and Prof. Andrzej Lewandowski.
On the second day, there was a field session with a visit to the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank, the container nursery of the Śnieżka Forest District, and the ruins of Bolczów Castle.
