Prof. Tomasz A. Pawłowski, DSc – offers mentoring for PhD candidates and early-career researchers in research planning and delivery, manuscript preparation, academic career development, scientific mobility, and funding applications. He has experience as a project manager and researcher on projects funded by the National Science Centre, the National Centre for Research and Development, the General Directorate of State Forests, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education; he is an expert for the Science Evaluation Committee, a reviewer of international research projects, and has experience in applying for European projects (MSCA). He has supervised two completed PhD theses. He has undertaken research stays abroad at the Centre for Plant Breeding and Reproductive Research (Wageningen, Netherlands), the Institute of Plant Molecular Biology (CNRS, Strasbourg, France), the Research Unit for Fruit and Vegetable Genetics and Breeding (INRA, Avignon, France) and the University of Paris-Saclay (Quantitative Genetics and Evolution, Gif-sur-Yvette, France). He is the representative for Eastern Europe of the International Society for Seed Science and a member of the Federation of European Societies for Plant Biology. He has a track record of publications and serves as a reviewer for leading journals in the fields of molecular biology, plant physiology and forest sciences (including Plant Physiology, Proteomics, Seed Science Research, Biologia Plantarum, BMC Plant Biology, Plant Molecular Biology, Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Plant Science, Tree Physiology and Annals of Forest Science).
