Prof. Grzegorz Iszkuło, DSc - offers mentoring for PhD candidates and early-career researchers in research planning and delivery, manuscript preparation (journal selection, manuscript structure, responses to reviewers), academic career development, scientific mobility, and funding applications (project concept, aims and hypotheses, methodology, timeline, risks, and proposal logic). He has experience as a principal investigator and project team member, including preparing several proposals to the National Science Centre, Poland (NCN); he serves as an expert for NCN and the State Forests (Lasy Państwowe) and has experience applying for European projects (LIFE). He has supervised/mentored four completed PhD theses, with two additional PhD projects currently in progress. He completed an international research stay at Michigan State University funded by the Kościuszko Foundation. He has a strong publication record and peer-review activity in leading journals in ecology and forest sciences (e.g., Journal of Ecology, Scientific Reports, Journal of Biogeography, Tree-Ring Research, Annals of Forest Science).
